WHAT DO YOU LOVE TO DO?
What do I not like to do? :) I enjoy so many things, but my love comes mainly from time outdoors. In Wisconsin, I make the most of summer and fall months with biking, hiking, swimming, fishing and camping. I enjoy taking my kids outside to listen to the sounds of nature, explore and go on nature adventures.
When I'm not outside, you can find me in the dojang practicing Taekwondo with my family as we work to become Black Belts together. You can also find me being crafty with scrapbooking, card making, knitting, and home decor projects.
WHY DO I DO THIS KIND OF WORK?
Back in 2005, at my first “real” job, I sent the first email I had ever coded. Like what most marketers experience during their careers, I was so scared of hitting the send button that would put that email into millions of inboxes. I dove right into the reports that monitored the email’s impact, engagement and revenue. To my delight, it worked! The way design and data came together to produce a single marketing element that drove connection had me hooked! From there my passion for email design, testing, data integration and customer segmentation took off.
WHAT DRIVES YOU TO CREATE MARKETING SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR CLIENTS? And what value does your team bring?
Many businesses need a fresh eye on their marketing plans, particularly their email marketing. My unique ability to solve problems by building strategies with a customer focus is a proven success. Email programs I design are focused on improving customer engagement and driving revenue. Email marketing is fundamentally the art of blending creativity and technology to drive customer connection. I excel at developing the vision, mapping the strategy, guiding the creative and executing the final product.
We are here to make email marketing easy. We will find areas that need improvement, develop strategies and execute your email program to drive growth and connection with your ideal clients.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
Easy! An otter. Otters seem to always have fun, playing in the water or on land. They are also great problem solvers when it comes to finding food to eat or tools to build their homes. They are also adorable.
WHAT IS THE IDEAL CLIENT?
Our ideal client is a small to mid-size retail or e-commerce business. You have established your product and understand the value you bring to the marketplace. You have been emailing your customers but are ready to take it to the next level and want to invest in an expert to help you along the way.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT WHEN YOU’RE ALONE IN YOUR CAR?
My alone time in the car is rare, but when I do get a chance, one or two things happen:
- I crank up some great music on my phone and sing along as loud as possible and don't care what other drivers think.
- I'm catching up on the latest audiobook that I downloaded, just dying to learn more.
How many square feet of pizza is eaten in the U.S. each year?
Purely a guess. Maybe something like 4 billion pizzas consumed. So whatever that is in square feet... (ok math time - if they are 12” pizzas we are looking at 4 billion square feet?) We really like pizza in our house. My husband loves to cook, and his favorite thing to do is to experiment with new homemade crusts and at different heat levels to find the "perfect" pizza. Every few weeks he says, "Now this is the best pizza" and puts the last one to shame. Maybe my answer is super high, but who doesn’t love pizza?
What are you known for?
When it comes to work, I'm an email queen. I can identify marketing gaps and enjoy creating email and cross-channel solutions. I enjoy starting with a good base and growing programs to their full potential. I'm ambitious, creative and not afraid to get the job done.
I have a similar mindset outside of my work, where I'm driven, outgoing, and friendly and enjoy having fun. Whether I'm planning a party or sitting down for a casual dinner, I'm open, enjoying the moment and love to make people feel comfortable and entertained.

I’m a hands-on digital marketer with 13+ years of experience in the travel/hospitality and retail industry. My expertise is in email marketing and customer segmentation. My background includes developing and implementing email marketing solutions for Funjet Vacations, Southwest Airlines Vacations, United Airlines Vacations and currently working with Allen Edmonds Shoe Corporation.
